Ball Fabrics, Inc. has always been a community-centric company. So it was not unusual when CEO Dale Ball met with Stetson University Marketing Students for a peek into how marketing works in a real world scenario.
After a tour of the manufacturing facility, Mr. Ball sat down with the students to discuss the Ball Fabric philosophy for integrating marketing, production, and sales as a synergistic system.
“I wanted them to see how what they are learning in the classroom translates into real world experience,” Mr. Ball explained. “We spent quite a bit of time discussing how marketing, product development, and customer service are not separate but actually integrally tied to one another. You can’t separate them. The students were very interested and asked some great questions. It was fun to show them the practical side of their education.”
